What I did was run the power wire down the pass side, and the RCA as far down the center console then over to the driver's side and ran it back that way. I would highly recommend doing anything to avoid taking out the PCM if possible, it just can take a while, and you risk scratching the fender if it breaks loose real quick. Just my .02, though.

If you're worried about scratching the fender, I'd say just put some painters tape down. I had no problem getting the PCM out of the way.
