Default SilverStar Headlight

I am looking to replace all my front lights ie. fog, high and low.
And i am going to go with the 880ST SilverStar for the fog.
I was wondering is there a write up or something on how to convert the high/low beams to SilverStar?

I would like them to be brighter, hopefuly white light, but i do not want to go as extream as HID light kit. Any ideas?

So there is really no way out, eather HID. or take the risk of custom making my own...
Buying empty headlamps and bulbs, and making the wire conversion, and hopeing it will all work out and everything...

Besides, the blue-tinted Silverstars are NOT brighter - they're just whiter and cause more glare.

You can replace the 880 (27 watt, 43 candlepower) with 893 (37.5 watt, 75 candlepower) to get almost twice as much light. But don't go with the 885 (50 watt, 100 candlepower) because they will melt the lens and housing. I have been running the 894 (same as 893 but with right-angle socket) for four years now without heat being a problem - even in Florida.

I had 894 in my Formula and they melted the back of the housing where the connector attaches. I now have aftermaket glass housings. http://www.fadingarrow.com/foglights.htm They came with blue tinted bulbs. I'd rather have a clear bulb. They put out more light than stock and I didn't pay extra for them, so I'll leave them until they blow.
