Default help with stock radio

Ok guys it's not a LS1 it's not even a GM but don't hold that aganst me. I have a 06 dodge ram and on the stock HU it has a aux jack is the jack a input or just a output and if it is an input anyone know where i can get a cable to conect a mp3 player it is a round jack about the size if a headphone jack.

It is an input. I've never heard of a factory system (or an aftermarket one for that matter) that has an auxiliary output.

You can get a cable from Radio Shack, any audio shop, or even WalMart. All you need is a cable with a 1/8" stereo plug on one end and a plug to match your MP3 player (probably also a 1/8" stereo plug) on the other end.
