No. The door speakers in a Camaro are components mounted coaxially, Firebirds have components mounted separately. The sail panel subs in a Camaro are 2-ohm single voice coil, Firebirds have 4-ohm dual voice coil. Hatch speakers in Camaros are 4" full range, Firebirds have 4" mids and .75" tweeters.

i dont think they are the same. the trans am with monsoon has front components, camaro with and without monsoon has coaxials, but i think they all have different impedences.

the sail panel speakers are different as well, as one is dual voice coil and the other is not (i forget which is which).

Actually, there is nothing really wrong with the factory speakers other than they are made from cheaper materials so they don't last. Most of the sound problems are caused by the distortion from the head unit. That's also what blows the speakers so often (especially at high volume).

I see. Well, I like my music loud, but I'm sure it's not very loud compared to the people that blow their factory systems.

If you need some good replacements I have them at very reasonable prices for both the Firebird and Camaro.
