I got a set from Crutchfield for $17.00, they're alright. They take a bit of cutting, etc to get them to work. Yours actually look a lot better than what Crutchfield uses. I'd like to have ones just like yours. I wonder if your installer has any left over?

I haven't talked to that guy since he installed my first set of speakers, been a while. But, since it looked like he made these just for my car I doubt he has any more sets. But trust me, you don't want anything to do with these. Very low quality. I want a new set now, I didn't see the ones at Crutchfield you mentiond. Do you have a link? I would like to see them.

I'm surprised nobody makes a good adapter plate for us.

There is no link to them. I can snap a pic of the diagram later for you. You have to just call and order it from them. These are not very good. The speaker doesn't even fit in the cutout portion of the ring. You have to use those v-shaped screw retainers and long screws which causes the speaker mating surface to stick 1/4" above the cutout hole (that's too small for the diameter of the speaker anyway). It really looks pretty hokey. With some 1/4" MDF or Fiberboard you could make a much better set of adpater plates. I'll end up doing that later on.
