Default Blown Sail Panel speaker

Does anyone know what size speaker this is for the sail panel? I have the monsoon system and the passenger side speaker by the rearseat is blown and I was wondering what would be a good CHEAP replacement since they are the Bass in the system.

It's a 6.5 inch speaker, I just threw in an Alpine type S in there, nothing out of this world but I'm pretty happy with it.

do a search on some speakers and you'll be able to find what will suit you. Also what do you define as cheap for speakers?

Edit: There is a write up on how to fit an 8" ED speaker in there.

I carry several but the most popular for a Trans Am is the eD eu700 but it does require a spacer for fitment and to drill a hole in the inside part of the metal in the sail panel behind the speaker. It does wire like stock though and is the only speaker that will wire exactly like stock. The ones I carry are single voice coil and would wire up using only one pair of the Firebird/Trans Am wires.
What you don't want to do is put a full range speaker with a tweeter in that location as the sail panel speakers on the Monsoon are bass only speakers. If you plan on aftermarket amplification then a full range speaker can be utilized but on the stock Monsoon a coaxial is a waste since the tweeter will not do anything.

Where did you purchase the speaker from for that much?

I've got a set of factories for sale. Let me know if you're interested. There's nothing wrong with them, I just upgraded.
