Default Speaker Questions???

Ok, so i recently put some Rockford Fosgate Power Serie's speaker's on layaway.

Now my question is, dont i need these speaker's to be "Coaxials"???? In order for me to be able to connect all 4 wire's????

Im gonna talk to them in a few day's, and see if they are gonna be giving me the correct speaker's. I just remembered this after getting speaker's from Wal-Mart a few months back, and i was only able to connect 2 of the 4 wire's.

in the doors? if so youll either need components or the infinity 62.7i's. if you get components, youll need to mount the tweeters elsewhere.

You will only be able to connect 2 of the 4 wires on the Camaro when using coaxials unless the tweeter wires on your new speakers are exposed in a way that allows you to tap the stock tweeter wires into them. Some do and some don't. If you buy components you don't have a problem wiring them but then youhave to mount the tweeter in another location. I carry 2 replacements that work with the Camaro's wiring. In fact the CDT CL-61CV is a component that mounts like a coaxial. It'sa convertable component and I have them on special right now here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-sales-specials/808727-kee-audio-holiday-speaker-specials.html
As you can see by the picture these work in either F-body as they mount like a standard component set or can be converted to mount like a coaxial.
The other set I carry have an exposed set of tweeter wires that you can easily tap into for the tweeter wires. They are listed on the same page further down.
The Infinity's lack a good bit of midbass and some find the tweeters a bit harsh. I had 2 sets of them and didn't care for either that much. Even when you get the tweeter to behave they just don't handle the midbass very well. Just my opinion.

Most popular area seems to be the mirror area. It makes a good place to mount them. Aftermarket tweeter pods are available for that area as well. I can PM you with more info on them.
