Pioneer??????
Pioneer?????? Pioneer makes several special fit CD players for GM cars. Should I go with this, or should I get something different. The most money I will spend is $300. I want somthing that will fit nicly without an ugly fitting adjustment.

Re: Pioneer?????? I believe that Alpine and Kenwood make them in addition to Pioneer's DIN-1/2 unit. It all depends on what you want for your stereo. A DIN-1/2 unit looks good, as it fills up the entire radio area, just like the stock unit. The only downside to getting one of these units, is that the DIN-1/2 units offered might not have the features you want compared to other "High-End" units. You might want the extra space around the radio with a single DIN unit, allowing you to fit a 1/2 DIN EQ or something in the dash with the radio, and If you happen to get rid of your F-body, You will have to get a GM/Chrysler vehicle that has the DIN-1/2 radio opening. A single DIN unit is interchangeable with all cars.

Re: Pioneer?????? I bought the GM fit Pioneer unit and am thrilled to death with it. It looks, sounds and functions great. I have absolutely zero complaints. Plus, I bought a brand new one off of ebay for $119!!! I couldn't be happier with it, honestly. (My other car has a $900 head unit in it so I am also familiar with more expensive systems.)
