I don't understand what you mean by "but not for the scenario I am in". However, Kicker and RF makes very nice stuff. Just go with since there newer amps are smaller. I have had RF in the past and perform like a charm. Another amp you can get is the Orion XTR 500.4. A little more expensive but very worth it.

I have been impressed with coustics line of amps. They are priced great for the work that they do. I have had three of their amps and have loved them all (2 2channel and 1 4 channel)

No, just coustic amps. They arent as well known but are totally awesome and put out some good power. I ran 3 eclipse 10's off a coustic 240se before my 600se came in (240 watts rms) and it powered them, not to the max but it did one hell of a job. The new line of them has a carbon fiber heat sheild but you can get different colored ones as well. They are clean sounding and definately not overrated power wise. Definatley worth the money. Go to ebay and in the car audio section look up coustic and you will find their amps

I've got a 5 channel Alpine amp with a full warranty until October, that I'd let go for $200. At 14.4volts it's rated at 50x4 and 150x1.

You might want to check out ikesond.com very good prices on very good stuff. You might want to try sounddomain too. A little expensive but they will beat the price if you find it cheaper elsewhere even if its not an authorized dealer.
