Too lazy to run another wire. But actually I got the wire crimped back on today and I'm still getting no sound from my amp. The amp turns on and stuff. I've tried all 3 pre-outs from my HU and nothing. I don't know if it's the HU or the amp. I will try the amp with a portable CD player later.

J, crimpers under $10, do they do large gauges like 4?

Using my vise I laid a small allen key across the crimp and crushed it in as shown. I did a pretty heft pull test and it held.
