Default JL or memphis?

I am going to start buying my system in the next few weeks. I have narrowed it down to Memphis and JL. I want a complete system of the same brand. Im weird and everything has to match. I am wanting:
(1) component set for the doors
(1)Coax seat for the rear sail panels
(2) 12" Subs ---Either Memphis M3 or JL w6
(1)Sub amp--- 1000 RMS atleast
(1) 4ch amp---75x4 RMS atleast

I have owned memphis in the past and have loved there subs and amps. Memphis makes an amp called the memphis belle its a 5ch amp with 75x4 4ch and 1100 rms 5th ch.

I have only herd good things about JL audio and money really isnt an issue with this I just want to get the best I can get in terms of SQ.

I dont know anything about memphis speakers (door spears). So I dont know if they are any good.

Id have to get 2 different amps for the jl set up since they dont do the 5ch deal. and I DO NOT WANT TO MIX AND MATCH.

Whats my best bet?

The Belle is a very nice amp. I have a JL 500/5, but I wouldn't mind the Belle by any means. The Belle has much more subwoofer power, though the JL has plenty for my setup, enough to easily hurt my ears.

That said, put your weirdness aside. Buying the same brand is a HORRIBLE idea. There is not a single company out there that makes great speakers, subwoofers AND amps. JL is closer than Memphis though. Get over your weirdness. Honestly. You'll pay more for less with it.

Go for a Fi Q12 sub. I guarantee you you won't need anywhere near 1000W on it, but it can take it.

I have the Memphis Belle in my ws6. I love that amp. It has a lot of power and produces a very clean sound. One of the best amps I have ever heard before, other than some of the old school Orion amps. That 1100 watts to the sub channel is 1 ohm. I have a DVC 4 ohm memphis sub wired parallel, so my amp is producing 600 at 2 OHMs. The Memphis components are good, but don`t really produce enough midbass for my taste. However, the problem may lie in the crossover. I have some barely used Memphis components, the top of line 6.5`s that I am selling cheap if your interested.

I have used memphis speakers and have had the trim ring come loose on one and one blew after 6 months.
As far as JL they make great products but are way over priced. You can get better for less money. IMHO.
Also JL does have a 5 channel amp it's just set up kinda weird. Here it is

To be honest i dont think you can go wrong with either of these choices. Both are very good companies and make quality products. Memphis is going to cost less so i would say Memphis.

I have a Memphis 10" sub and a small Memphis amp in my Camaro. I was shocked at how much it puts out.

In the Volvo I have two JL Audio 12" with a Rockford Fosgate "pretty big" amp.

I don't think you can make a bad decision with either brand.

Talk to Ian from KEEAUDIO. He can set you up with your speaker needs. He gave me a great deal on some. He`s a great guy to deal with

The JL ZR components are quite impressive, but there is certainly as good or better for A LOT less cash.

CDT makes some awesome sounding speakers. They are comparable to focal and diamond. You were originally considering memphis components and the CDT`s are FAR superior to those.

Uhh, CDT is not comparable to Focal for speakers. They are better than Memphis for speakers. Their subs are below JL and their speakers are probably comparable to JL. I'd put them around the same level as Diamond, which is pretty good but not amazing. CDT is a good brand but lets not start thinking they're amazing just because someone sells them here (no offense Ian).

I DONT WANT CDT anything. ive herd them befor and was not impressed at all. What brand has the best all around systems? I want to try to stick to the same company if possible. I am thinking about just going with JL or do the memphis system and jL component speakers.

There is a company out called Elemental design. Don't know if you have heard of them or not, the speakers sound good prices are good and look nice. I am a JL fan even though the pricing cause the sound quality but ED is good stuff too.

If you are looking for the best sounding then what about some rainbow germs. I'm getting a set as soon as I get the cash. The profi vandilums are even better but bring the credit card when go to get them.
