I got the tracking info on the speakers yesterday. They will be delivered on the 8th. So that means that they will be installed 20 minutes later on the 8th . I'll let you all know.

Alright they are in and sounding awsome. i almost forgot what it was like to have a nice sounding system. I played some country, rock and r&b and they all sound awsome. Now don't get me wrong 6.5 subs will never sound like 10''subs but for their size they are a hell of a deal. Made me want to take the car for a drive down the road just to top off the tank and listen to the radio. I would highly recomend these.!

So will these work in a 97 Camaro? I have aftermarkets in there now, but I'd like a little more midbass.

I just installed a set of Kicker 08CVT65-2 2 ohm speakers in the sail panel of my 2000 Z-28, They sound awesome! i would recommend them to anyone who has a Camaro since they are the perfect replacement for our 2 ohm sail panel speakers. They also come in a 4 ohn version also. I purchased them on the internet for 54.95 a piece stay away from ebay there atleast 70$ apiece. Worth every penny!

Should be installing my 08CVT65-2's this weekend in my 99 Z28. I replaced the 4" round hatch speakers with kicker DS400's and the front doors with Infinity Reference 6022si's last week. Been waiting for my subs to come it. The front door speakers were both blown all to hell, just figured that replacing them all would sound much better. So far with the upgrades made, it sounds great, I can only imagine that with the subs in, it will be even better.

Any recommends of a full kicker replacement set for front door speakers in a Camaro? I like to keep the whole car the same name brand. Leaning towards Infinity for now.
