Default Question about ALpine SWR-1042D sub

My mom just bought me a 10" Alpine SWR-1042 Type R sub, for my birthday, that i plan on installing into my sub thump drivers side stealth box. First of all i hope the thing fits because it is huge, but my question is would it be better to vent the box or run it in a sealed box? Also any one else here using this particular sub woofer, and if so how do you like it? Thank you for the help.

Default

sealed = tight clean bass, small box
ported = deep bass, larger box
either way, in an fbody, almost anything hits hard b/c of hatch.
