Default Dumb question, quick answer

Ok, my car didn't come with a manual, and i've pushed every damn button on the stereo. I've loaded the cd changer in the trunk, now how the hell do I get it to play one of the CDs? None of the buttons I hit do anything, and there are no error messages at all...

I think the CD should start playing automatically once it is put in.

Or, you could look an owner's manual. Not having a manual is no excuse for not looking at one.
