Help wiht Big 3 Ok, so I have 1/0 for my battery ground, and I had some extra 1/0 power so i am running it from battery to alternator.
how are you guys loosening the nut on the alternator. I cant get up in there to loosen it, and it even looks tough to pull the alternator off. I was thinking about taking the belt off and unbolting it, but i dont see that itll be any easier, and with it not bolted in itll be tough to get any torque on the nut.

hm..so either nobody has done this or nobody wants to help.
I might have to remove the alternator to do this, but i thought somebody would have some good info for me.

I upgraded my cables right after I installed a powermaster 200amp alt.
But I did install the cable with the alt. fully mounted from underneath ,with the car up on ramps. FYI do it when the engine is cold and take your time.
