I used to have a Scanmaster in my old car. Really liked the MPH feature.

Got a new car (98 SS), thinking about a HUD setup. I think it'd be even better. But I don't know how well the setups actually work. Has anyone had any experience with one? Links would be great.

Not a "personal" experience but a friend of mine has one in his Z28. I think he got it from Lingenfelter. It's a pretty trick piece. A piece of material goes on the windshield and the display unit sits on the dash. I think he paid around $100. for it.

Interesting. I saw the DEFI and the Lingenfelter ones (which are the same thing). Haven't seen any others, I guess that's the only option! Think the LPE one was listed at $210 or so.

I was thinking of doing this for like 6 months now but had the same ques., did anyone else do this? I guess not and lingenfrlter has a good kit I think I'll try it once I get my direct port installed.

Id be interested in seeing one in an F body myself...id like to get one, but for 200 bucks im havin a hard time deciding.
