If the amp is small enough you can tuck it the little cubby hole in the trunk on the driver side.
I made a piece of fiberglass to cover the cubby hole as well. The Alpine amp has a bright blue light on the top of it when it is on, and you can't see out the back window from the glare. If you want people to see it mount it on top of the rear axle housing. You can hide all of the wires under the carpet either place. I can get you some pics of the way it is in the cubby hole if you would like.

I got an amp rack from subthump to mount it on the back wall of the trunk. If its small enough you could mount it in the cubby hole on the left side or on the right (where the stock amp is if you are replacing it or where the spare tire is if you don't plan on keeping it in)

You can monut it on the passenger side, but you might have to come up with something for the amp to sit on. unless you mount it with like sheet metal screws threw the body. would not recommened. I made sure to put some padding under mine for road shock purposes.

inside with the spare or if its small enough on the flat service right there or to the back wall

bottom of well if you dont have ttops

the back wall is easy get a piece of mdf put it under the carpet screw it in to the back of the car then put carpet back and screw ur amp into it

i wouldnt worry about putting anything under the amp to protect if from road shock etc ive never heard of ppl doing this

You could mount it like I did...

Just make sure you have dark tint, so its not visible outside.

just the factory. I live in a fairly safe neighborhood, but it probably wouldn't have lasted very long in the car if it wasn't for the limo tint.

If I were you, I would hide it in the cubby hole. I did it this way because I have 2 amps, and that's too much to hide. I thought the two amps, and the crossovers for the component speakers up front fit pretty well.

What I did was use liquid nails to glue 2 2X4s to the frame under the carpet, and just screwed the amps in to them.

O yea, I did it this way to save TTop space.

You could also go the best way and spend the money on subthumps amp rack.
I'm cheap, as you can tell by my obvious budget build.

If you are worried about someone stealing your amps I made a box that fits up againt the back of the back seat and goes side to side and touches the privacy cover for the trunk. It is made of plywood and has hinged top to have get in the box. The box is covered with black carpet. It was made for that very reason so that no one saw the amps threw the back window. 5% tint is what I have on my back glass to but a flash light you stil l can see threw it.

I only need one amp, just for the sub. I'm not doing anything hard core. I just want more bass and clear sounding speakers.

A second amp for your speakers will really clear up the sound. I mean a world of difference. seriously.

Sorry I can't help you. Have you heard of Cardomain. You can google that, and single out firebird and just look how others have mounted amp in the interior section
