Default Blinkers keep blowing...

Well I am not sure why but my blinkers keep blowing. It's kinda of a game really, I'll replace one then the other will blow or just which ever one wants to **** me off...So what could be causing them to over heat? My fog lights have never busted on me at all since I have had the car...what to do?

Maybe it's time to change your blinker fluid? http://kalecoauto.com/index.php?main...&products_id=6

Seriously...most often the bulbs blow because of water getting in the housing. Cold water + hot bulb = blown bulb. It also causes the socket to corrode.

That's EXACTLY what happened to mine! Would be replacing bulbs every other week if not more often.

I keep blowing the passenger side front turn signal. Everytime it rains and I hit a puddle *poof* there goes my blinker. For me it is a water issue. I have re-sealed the entire housing without helping the issue. It is my feeling that when you hit a puddle, water is pushed past the bulb socket and into the housing. I know there is a seal on the socket, but I am not sure if they are a poor design or just giving up from age.

I have gone as far as to look at mounting the bulb and socket from the top and sealing off the bottom. Once I get my hands on a spare housing, I am going to see what I can work out.

I've had to replace my bulbs as often as every day or two until I realized that there was a ton of water in there. After using an air compressor to blow out the water, things have been mostly fine for me. Now, I just replace a bulb every 2 or 3 years and I blow it out at the same time.
