The switch in the driver's side door latch is not operating properly. It either needs to be cleaned, adjusted or replaced.

Is there anyway I can adjust it?

WhiteBird00 knows more about it. Maybe he'll chime in here, or you can PM him. I haven't had to work on mine yet.

The door switch is mounted to the door latch mechanism (unlike older models that had pin switches in the door jamb). There is a small amount of adjustment with the mounting screws but that usually isn't the problem. More often the problem is that the switch is gummed up with road grime. A good shot of spray contact cleaner from Radio Shack (TV tuner cleaner will work as well) will usually take care of it.

That part I knew (from a previous post of yours). What I'm unsure on is how/where? Is it obvious where the switch is in the latch (I know where the latch is)? Is there a diagram somewhere?

Im not sure. I'll take a look at it more and try to clean it out. Thank you.
