Default How did You mount your components?

Just like the title says, I need ideas where to mount the tweeters. I dont want to cut any holes for them in the door panel and it doesnt look like their is very many options. I had a friend who had them in the defrost vents, anyone do this? how did you mount them? Please post pics if possible.

With the right holder the tweet can go anywhere. That's your only concern?

I dont want a whole in my car that I cant fill if i decide to sell it. I know I can mount it if I just get a hole saw and drill a hole in the panel but thats too getto for me. And there isnt room next to the speaker on the doors or sails.

Options then would be double side tape, make your own or just get a Braxial setup that mounts the tweet in from of the mid like the CDT-63 Braxial.

I used silicone. A member told me he did and it worked great. The tweeters were flush with the hole. I siliconed them, let them dry and it was perfect..

thanks guys, the silicon idea sounds like the winner. Shoemike those brackets are nice but for $50 screw that.

I had to take a bad tweet out yesterday. Pulled all the silicone out with it so ready to go back in again. Just balled it off with my fingers so that is for sure the way to go.
