Default in need of some advice...

i dont have a system in the car but i need to upgrade my alternator.
my question is, is a 200amp alternator over kill or will a 160amp due?? its a twinturbo 402ci with upgraded fuel pumps and wiring and a under drive crank pully (stock size alternator pully). i installed a "new" aftermarket alternator but it appears not to be workin at all. when i first start the thing up, the gauge jumps up and down but after it warms up its completely dead and will start to drop as i drive. had to get it jumped the other day when i stopped for gas cause the battery was low.
i figured since i have to change it out, might aswell upgrade but since i dont have a system or anything like that im pondering if its worth me getting a 200 or if the 160 will suffice. thanx

Get an overdrive alt. pulley and a 160 amp and you should be fine.
