Do any good to great speakers drop into a TA?

Do any good to great speakers drop into a TA? I was wondering if anyone knows of any good+ quality (MB Quart,Boston,etc.)that drop into existing places in a Trans Am?
What's the weak link in the monsoon system? Speakers? Head Unit? AMP? I ask because my stereo sounds pretty muddy. NOWHERE near as good as the stock Bose set up in my GTP and the Bose system isn't that great.

Re: Do any good to great speakers drop into a TA? everything is a weak link.........the only thing you can change without replacing everything is the head unit but then your still using the factory amp and speakers so you gain nothing but a nicer looking radio and maybe some better features..
