How come all the good brand head units are HD-radio ready but not built in?

Dual, JVC, and Jensen come w/ HD-radio built in. I would like to see an Alpine or Pioneer w/ it built in.

When are they coming? Anybody know?

I don't want to pay for satellite radio, plus Chicago has a good number of HD stations.

 

The JVC ones are actually very good. I carry several from JVC and their JVC Arsenal series. Most also feature an aux input on the face as well. Plus their very reasonably priced compared to most Alpine units.
