Sure, you made a guess that might turn out to be correct because the information has changed. Sometimes you get lucky.

Just bought new bulbs for the front DRL/Turn lights. Still didnt fix the problem, the sockets look like they need replacing.

I just went through this with my car. A previous owner had replaced the sockets but just twisted the wires and put electric tape on them. I got some new sockets off of a wrecked firebird at a junkyard for 10 bucks spliced the wires with but-connectors and coated them down with liquid electric tape, put the dilectic(sp?) grease in the sockets and everything is good. If you end up needing a DRL module, as it controls the front turn signals, let me know. I have a spare (proving Whitebird's point of throwing parts at something!! LOL), GM dealer here wanted nearly $400 bucks for ones but I got it off of said firebird for $20.

Dude I wasnt trying to be a smart ***, My theory was that it happened right after he washed his car so it stands to reason that it was an external problem...not the flasher.

Doug

Btw thanks for the offer for the gift certificate but if you wouldnt mind just send the op the gift certificate for this.

go to o'reilly's, they only cost 3.49 a piece. just cut the old connectors wires and connect the new ones using electrical tape. and I would check your turn signal housing for cracks in the front b/c that is probably the cause of the sockets looking horrid(water gets in there and corrodes the **** all to hell)
