Default WOW smoking alternator

Started the t/a up today and the alternator started squealing like crazy and there was white smoke pooring out, dont know if it is a bad belt or bad alternator, the bearing in the alternator has been bad for a couple months now, do you guys think it is a bad belt, alternator or both?

Electronics only have a certain amount of smoke in them - once you let out the smoke, they stop working.

If the alternator bearing seized up, the belt would start smoking from rubbing on the stationary alternator pully.

Alterstart has a 200A alternator for LT1 as well as the standard 140A model. Go to 4alterstart.com and search for 10480111.

okay so i replaced my alternator today and a new belt and i still get the white smoke, so i am guessing it is one of my pulleys, anyone know a way to check them to see which one is bad?
