I was afraid that the upper armrest would block some of the sound from getting directly to my ears, plus this gives me the option to move the mount location a little if I deside to flush mount them. And with the tweeters surface mounted I'm able to point the tweeters a little more where I want them. And yeah, I know it would look a lot better with the tweeters flush mounted.

They are O's. A little underpowered right now. Each is getting about 475 rms each from a rockford power 800.2 I plan on getting a nine.1 for them pretty soon. Should perk them up a wee bit.

Everything on this setup was designed so it can be taken apart easily. The face panel over the amp comes off to expose the wiring underneath. The amp rack is a seperate piece from the subwoofer box and comes out easily without having to pull the subs out. More pics in the cardomain link in my sig.

Here's what me and my dad through together. I've had this since the beggining of 05' and plan on upgrading to two JL 13W7 in a fiberglass box, but my current setup does pound. It's dynamated from the seats back and anywhere else I could think of, no rattles whatsoever, except on those low notes that get my corner panels flexin haha, but nothin you can do about that.

Alpine deck
Arc Audio 1000v1 base, 600.4 bridged for highs
4 Arc Audio 10d's
A pair of MB Quart Premiums with custom build-out for the components
Arc Audio EQ
Hidden kinetik betery and stinger cap in
All Arc Audio equipment is base model KAR series

I absolutely love this setup, however, I own a t-top car and wouldn't want to eliminate my t-top storage. Putting them in the back seat is...well annoying sometimes. I have a set of L5s in my car setup like this:

I can't store my t-tops nor can I get my spare out. IT was like this when I bought the car and have been trying to think of a different way to mount them up. Any thoughts?

EDIT: PLEASE ignore the yellow interior...previous owner was a little crazy I guess
