Error 20 Plz Help Hello, I bought a Trans Am yesterday with Monsoon stereo system.There at the lot I didn't have any cds so we tried out the radio. Well I got home and I put in a CD, it did nothing (no noise like spinning or anything) and it said "E 20" I looked on forums and it said it could be cause of bumpy road (sitting still in drive way) it also said it could have humidity in it.Has anyone had this problem? If so could you plz tell me how to fix it.Kinda sucks having a new car and not having a cd player in it

Re: Error 20 Plz Help Check your cars manual it has some instruction on THEFTLOCK maybe the cd player is stolen if it is then u cant get anything to work does the radio work?cuz sometimes the cd player get hot and it wont play anything i had error problems on my truck it didnt want to play the CD's on mine it was because the where CD-RW's recorded and they wouldnt play until by it self it would start playing them again...........but check ur cars manual first read the instuction under "THEFTLOCK"

Re: Error 20 Plz Help E20 just means that the CD player is having trouble reading the disc. It could be that the lens is just dirty or the disc is scratched. Or maybe it just can't read that particular disc. If all your CDs are displaying that error, try a cleaning disc or maybe even open er' up and give her a scrub down! (I'm not kidding) If your still having problem, time for a new headunit. You can pick a stock one up pretty damn cheap off the F-body forums or EBay. Or if you have the money, go aftermarket.
