You can see part of the cable gland that isn't covered by the heat wrap. I'm planning on covering the gland with heat wrap.

I figured that it wouldn't hurt if I added some sound deadening material to the walls of the quarterpanel. The Peel n Seal is cheap and I've got plenty.

The floor of the car is pretty well done as far as sound deadening material goes. I'm still going to apply some to the doors and the roof.

Bummer! I've got a couple of plug wire boots touching the headers. Definitely not good! These are brand new wires and I've looked at aftermarket wires. For being so short, they're pricey.

I wanted to get that crossmember up there as accurately as I could get it before I drilled the rear holes. This is the passenger side.

I made this spacer to take up the gap between the crossmember and "frame" due to the SFC weld tab.

On the driver's side, I noticed that the crossmember wanted to sit just on the front edge of the weld tab of the SFC. What to do?

The hole is getting close to how it needs to be shaped. Not quite there, yet.

I used a large pair of very good tin snips to cut the sheetmetal. I probably should've used a cutoff wheel in my pneumatic die grinder but metal particles would've flown everywhere.

After way too much work, I finally got the transmission tunnel hump off of the donor car. Look at all of those big holes I had to drill.

Here are some of the drill out spot welds. Actually, they're not quite drilled out. I needed to use a much larger drill bit to cut out all of the weld.

The whole Tremec shifter assembly was contacting the coupe's transmission tunnel. I did some online research and found that the tunnels on manual transmission cars were modified.

The number showing on the dial indicator doesn't match up with what is written on the plate because this picture was taken about 10 days later when my offset dowel pins arrived. I installed them in the wrong direction and got the terrible number shown on the dial indicator.
