This was my second Gen 3 conversion following the Supra. I got this car in central Florida for about $800 and towed it home. I pulled the rotary and added the following:
2005 L33 aluminum block V8 from a 2005 Silverado. Motor cost $800 from a junkyard complete intake to oil pan.
Motor has a 2004 Z06 cam and LS6 springs and Pacesetter longtubes.
Hinson mounting kit.
Chevy van radiator.
Mid 90's Taurus two speed fan with custom wiring for PCM control.
2002 F-body T56 six speed
1998 PCM and wiring, custom tune via HP Tuners.
C4 Corvette driveshaft.
RX-7 Turbo II limited slip differential.
ADR M Classic 18" wheels and 245/40 W rated tires.
I overhauled the brakes after I noted they were not in real good shape.
I've added a Racepak digital dash since I couldn't find a good alternative to the stock cable driven speedometer.
The car has some bugs such as the AC control panel not cycling the compressor and idiot lights that come on at random. It's a nice car to drive here in Florida in the spring and fall.
