This is Bill Devin's Devin Special Race Car from 1955. It began life as a 55 Austin Healey BN2, and was completely scratch built. It weighs in at 1007 lbs total. You do not want to get hit in this thing. 175hp seems small, but if you multiply the hp x 3 for the weight of a similar sports car today, you wind up with the power to weight ratio of a 600hp F body

Suspension Modifications:
Completely fabricated rear suspension. Rear end cut down, bearing plates welded to the pumpkin, transverse top leaf spring, leading and trailing arms, and lower control arms that protrude beneath the belly pan.
