This car was our second "replacement" car for our totaled 2002 Camaro SS; which was rear-ended by a hit and run driver on the freeway. We initially bought another Camaro SS in Light Pewter Metallic (LPM) and swapped the stroker and drivetrain into that car, but neither my wife or I liked it, and it never grew on us. My wife had fallen in love with a WS6 when we bought the LPM Camaro SS, that had been sold the day before we asked to buy it, so she settled on the LPM Camaro.
One random day she blurted out that she hated the LPM car, and I agreed, and told her to find a car that spoke to her like our original Camaro did. After searching for half an hour she found this Firehawk at a dealership only about 5 blocks away from where we live. We immediately drove down and bought the car on the spot.
