Closer look under the hood. Note the numerical tags to help make sure you get the thing back tog ether properly

Here is all the hardware that came with it. I was surprised to get ARP bolts as a part of the package

Looking inside one of the windows at all the carbon friction disc goodness.

Fully assembled and bolted together as received from the vendor. This was actually quite helpful, as in taking it apart, you see how it goes back together

Here is how the clutch was packaged. Pretty damn nice packing job.

This is basically how it will look when it's done. no coils, but everything else is ready to go. I'm leaving the coils off for room to install the intake bolts.

Here is how I wired in the MAF. I went ahead and cut the harness, soldered in the 5-pin connector and ran it into one tube. Made it look a lot cleaner than the adapter harness crap

Power steering in place now. Will deal with the electric mod later. Took some steel wool to all the cast aluminum brackets and such, because they looked so crappy next to the new heads.

An attempt to show the 1/4" gap between the pump and the throttle. There were lots of threads where this was an interference point. Maybe I got lucky. And this is without the intake gaskets, etc, which will raise the intake a tad more.

Holding the throttle plate open. This thing is massive (that's what she said) compared to the stock throttle.

Meziere / Braziere water pump. The black powder coating really makes it pop. This is like the Johnson lifters in that the solid feel of it just feels like phenomenal quality

Mounted the MAP vertically using a washer stack to help hold it in place. Pretty simple solution to the firewall interference

This is mock-fit with the intake manifold. MAP sensor very close to firewall. Notice the rockers are in. This pic was taken post-pushrod measurement

At one point, it got to 110 in my garage, which faces west into the afternoon phoenix sun, so I took the old and new intakes inside and built up the FAST. Left the rails unattached to make bolting it in a bit more easier

Here is the tray coming out of the engine. The lifters let go with no friction at all. Anybody out there still think the tray will save you during a cam swap?
