The New Cadillac CTS-V is the #Hit!
Cadillac’s renaissance began when the company introduced the CTS-V in 2004. It was a signal to the rest of the world that Cadillac was back in the luxury business, and that it wanted to compete head to head with the likes of the Germans.
However, it was quite some time before the rest of the Cadillac lineup could hold a candle to that of Mercedes or BMW. Now however, through years of concerted effort made by Cadillac and GM, the company is flourishing and to help mark that turn around, the company has brought out a new CTS-V, and this one’s a show stopper.
Using the same supercharged LT4 V8 out of the Corvette Z06, the new Cadillac CTS-V makes 640 horsepower, and 640 lb-ft of torque making it the most powerful production car in Cadillac’s history.
While we haven’t had the chance to drive the new CTS-V as of yet, quite a few other journalists have, and have even made a few videos with the car. Here’s a few of those videos that pretty much all say, “holy crap is this car amazing.”
