Fourth Gen. F-Body Runs 10s Naturally Aspirated: Pontiac Firebird Formula

I’m a sucker for fourth generation F-Bodies, especially fast street cars that are getting it done without a mile-long mod list. I can remember when this car had a stick and it ripped!

The owner, LS1Tech username Samsel450R swapped to an auto for obvious reasons. I always enjoyed the videos of him rowing the gearbox, but it’s nice to see his Pontiac is still holding it down. Here he’s running a new best of 10.84 @ 125 mph thanks to a forged 347 shortblock, AFR 205 heads, a PatG cam, FAST 92mm intake manifold, full bolt-ons, a Yank SS3600 stall and drag radials. The car was built by CBI Streetcars and it looks like it’s working quite well.
