Default 10 seconds in an NA 6 spd car with AC

Went out to the track again, The track prep sucked horribly. I think my best 60ft was 1.58 of the night. I also learned that , i need some double adjustable shocks in the front and some front brake upgrades. I was having problems all night with the nitrous system, my purge would keep sticking open so i didnt get one nitrous run in. I got a new GOPRO and slapped it on the car for some testing. I'm done at the track until it cools off, the car runs dog slow in this heat and humidity Thanks to Matt (cookie monster) for filming and uploading them for me last night as well. OH and yes i suck at shifting.

In your other thread you were running 123-125 mph. How did you all of a sudden gain 6-7 mph? What changes did you make? Congrats on the 10's

First vid at the :30 second mark you can hear what sounds like a nitrous purge.... Running 132mph at 3700lb race weight takes close to 600rwhp.....

Nice running car though! Love seeing cars with a man pedal getting it done!

Hear it purge? You can SEE it, lol.

Congrats on the 10 second time slip. Always good to see M6 cars in the tens, especially when they are NA.

Yes I was attempting to run nitrous but it kept sticking open, so I had to turn the bottle off. I would hope to pick up more than .2 with a 100 shot lol. I'm took the purge off and am gonna go back and give it another go. Yes the video is very misleading.

And jmm98ls1 the car made 554/510 on the dyno. I threw a red flag at the mph the track timer posted because I was barely at 63-6400 rpms and with a 4.11 gear and 28" tire thy should only be 127ish mph which is what I normally trap. All I know is what the slip says

I ran 133+ on a low 50s degree night in a 3650 race weight (427, 6 spd, 3.73s, 26 inch tire, close to sea level) and I don't make 600 rwhp. Ran 10.55 with 1.59 60 foot.

Nice run by the way.

Negative DA will do that. That doesn't happen in these parts unless there's snow on the ground. You'd lose a solid 5mph up here.

WheelzUp: You're making great power with that 402!....~127mph is right where you should be trapping if those dyno figures are accurate. Speed those shifts up and that ET will keep falling! Are you dumping or quick slipping the clutch with that new RXT?

Not too shabby. Like Jmm98 said, speed those shifts up abit. The quicker your shifts are, the less the car will be unsettled between shifts.

Thats what i was thinking, and my mph calculator says the same, as do about every one of my other timeslips LOL i think the track timers were jacked up.... I"m dumping the clutch, im thinking about trying the quick slip, but there isnt much pedal movement from engaged to not engaged.

I just put my pro 5.0 shifter in this week, i've been running with the stock one the whole time, hopefully this will give me a bit more confidence in powershifting (my feet are quicker than my hands). I tend to miss 3rd alot if i'm trying to powershift. i dont have a shift light installed either, i'm trying to do it off the stock tach/by ear :fail: , i just bought a Harlan unit from tunedbyfrost last night. I've got lots more work ahead of me.
