I got really close to stepping up to the 9 second club yesterday. I put an 81n jet tune in the nitrous on the last pass of the day.

Congrats on that run! You will be there very soon from the looks of that pass Just curious if you are using any kind of controller on your nitrous setup? I currently have NOS mini progressive, and am having a couple of issues with surging. I am just about ready to go back to just my window switch, or old school on a button

Did you get any closer to your 10 slip on motor?

I have a really old school NOS controller:

As for surging, the only time I have experienced that is when my bottle pressure got too high, or my fuel supply was not keeping up. I have heard stories of guys not having sufficient power(amperage) to their progressive units and or insufficient ground. I have also heard people have problems when not using relays on their throttle switch as the microswitch could not handle their amperage. But, I have never used a mini, so I don't know how it is wired. I just know the mini is very well loved and has a great reputation in general.'

As for my 10 seconds N/A, last trip to the track netted an 11.05 @121. A little better air and I will have it.

Very nice man! Congrats. I actually saw that pass as I was leaving. We need to line them up again. Should make for a great video.

I tried to find you at the event, but every time I went over to where you were parked, you weren't there. Looks like you got really close too. We definitely need to line up.

I am going to get it next time out. I have it real close to dialed in perfect.

Thursday the 27th test n tune might be the night. I will be keeping an eye on the weather forecast for that day.

We talked about doing a feature article on the car. So, he was loading up on some photos. I want to have a 9 second pass for the article though.

Yeah, I had my 10 year old nephew with me. I got a workout chasing him around all day. I barely stopped to talk to anyone. The kid was on a mission.

That is pretty cool of you to take you time with him on a race day. I hope he had a good time and found some appreciation for racing.

Good taste at such a young age is a good sign.
