My build (truck/C6 manifold setup)
Its going slow, but going none the less. I'm learning more than I ever thought I would, I'll be posting new pics as it develops. Hope it can help someone out thats a few steps behind.
A little about the build. Its a truck/C6 manifold setup retaining the AC .
The motor is mostly stock with 56k on the clock, only mods are typical bolt ons and a TR224/563 cam on a 112 ( not choice for F/I I know) After i finish up the turbo fabrication I'll swap the heads with some 317's that I already have and run up the boost a little.
Turbo is a Garrett 76mm (.96 exhaust AR) that HP did some work on, dont know what trim it is but my buddy went a best of 9.37 @144 with it on his car.

Fuel system: Im running a racetronix 255lph setup, seimens deka 55# injectors with an Acceleronics Versafueler.

I started the build with swapping my K-member to a BMR turbo k-member to make my life just a little easier. Then I swapped the manifolds & an extra oil pan I had drilled and welded in a bung for oil drain back
Here's where I tapped the pan, I used a -10 bung.
Next I stripped the front end down and started designing how I would mount the intercooler.
Next I started on modifying the radiator support to make the radiator and condensor go verticle. I'm using the typical Griffin radiator that everyone else usually uses.
Next I mounted a set of Derale pusher fans, they are rated @ 2200 CFM each. I opted for these over the Spal fans because of the amount of air they claim to push. I'm not the first to use these fans, another member here actually mounted his fiirst but I dont think he had them wired up when I got mine. Anyway I wired them in just like the factory fans were, on low they are ran in series and when in high they each get a seperate 12v connection. I had to grind very little of the hood latch support for them to fit. I did however have to cut about 1/2" of a seem that stuck up at the bottom of the radiator support to get them to clear the upper radiator support.
At this point I addressed the alternator relocation. I didnt like the price and limited choices there were on the market for an alternato relocation bracket so I made my own.
In the near future somehow this will end up being my crossover. Its 304 ss, I plan on tigging everything.

Holy *****. That is amazing. What is your fabrication back round. Just curious because every once and a while i see a memeber fabbing up awesome custom setups.

Thanks. I grew up and still work in a salvage yard/body shop/mechanic shop. I just started TIG welding and have taken to it pretty well, its easy to pick something up if you really enjoy it and I do. I guess you could say its a forced learning curve too, if I want it and cant afford to pay someone to do it I better learn how.

I have to admit before I started the build I did a lot of searching on forums, & I even looked at your web site. I hope my setup can turn out looking half as good as what I've see you do. Thanks for the compliment & I hope to see some pics of your twins soon.

Good for you. I pride my self on doing all the work on my car also. I wish one day to have the tools,space and knowledge to jump into some custom fabb work. Cant wait to see this thing in action.
