1968 Camaro swap
I know lots of you have made this exact swap. Hoping someone has a shopping list

1968 Camaro putting 6.0L Swap with a 4L80E looking for some parts
Intake (I have cathedral heads)
Headers
Motor mounts
Trans mount
low profile oil pan
That should get me a good start. Look forward to seeing what everyone is running.
Headers- Holley/Hooker long tubes
Motor mounts- Holley/Hooker
Trans Mount- Holley/Hooker crossmember
Oil Pan- Holley/Hooker
Notice a pattern here? It's because all the above are designed to work together without guesswork.
And that has proven itself.
Intake - anything low profile. LS1/6/2 FAST car intakes, low profile sheetmetal (not the standard height). TBSS will not clear the hood, even cowl hoods
Headers - Speed engineering fit great. You should replace the steering box with a Borg unit before putting the headers in. Original boxes typically blow seals after the swap
Motor mounts - ICT, nothing special
Trans mount - stock, cut the ends off and weld new perches to the subframe
low profile oil pan - 302-2
Also, the 4L80E will NOT clear your trans tunnel. Expect to do some sheetmetal work
I also recommend a holley EFI sending unit for 67-69 camaros. Fits stock tank, internal regulator, one line to the engine, that's it. You should either flare the line or weld an AN fitting on. Barb fittings and high pressure don't play well
I bought the motor mounts and trans crossmember - installed without issue and fits pretty easy. I bought an off-brand 302-2 oil pan and had no issues, just make sure to check it for burrs and that the oil pickup tube fits correctly - should probably do the same even if it's a Holley branded pan.
I bought the headers on clearance, but haven't installed them yet. You may be able to get a set of the headers cheap, I think I paid $350 brand new from Speedway, but they were on clearance, I'm not sure if you can get them that cheap any more. I think they were downsizing the number of variants they produce (there were multiple lengths, tube sizes, coatings, and materials available and I see less options available now).

Besides, pre-made exhaust kits fit like crap. A trip to the exhaust shop is always on the list
Knock-off pans are direct copies of the holleys. Plenty of people think they come from the same foundries. The main difference is the pickup tube. Most have a crooked pickup screen which isn't a big deal, but occasionally they are too close to the pan floor. Measure, tweak, worry about something else
Holley got slapped by the EPA/Feds, so their entire header line was discontinued. That's why they were so cheap for you. The exhaust systems are still legal, so they are still in production. Quite a few people are unhappy because they bought the exhaust system first and found the matching headers were no longer available

I am going to fabricate the trans mount.
Looking for one last call on recommendations for headers.
I had long tube headers from the big block then 3" all the way back.
My plan is just to adapt from new headers to current exhaust and leave the 3" I had in place.
Buying a "kit" while more expensive, is made to work together. Yes, you can do it cheaper, may need to modify stuff to fit and thats what I did since I'm cheap
