Default 11.750 @ 119.02 !!!

Made it into the 11's last weekend at the LSX shootout.
Last year, my best run was 12.95 with drag radials and headers.

Did heads / cam / clutch over the winter. Made 2 passes (12.75 and 12.65) at Quaker City Raceway in Ohio and then snapped an output shaft in the differential.

Upgraded the output shaft with a hardened shaft from Lingenfelter and switched to 4.10 gears. That really woke the car up. Ran a 12.1, 11.97, and 11.92 in Memphis during test n tune. Then saturday morning qualifying hit a good launch and ran 11.750. I lost first round of the 12.0 index by breaking out into the 11's (and my reaction times are horrible). That's a good problem to have!

Car details in sig and time slip details here:

60 ... 1.658
330 ... 4.853
1/8 ... 7.557
MPH ... 93.00
1000 ... 9.846
1/4 ... 11.750
MPH ... 119.02

Good times and congrats! Were you bogging out of the hole? or spinning? Your mph is a little high for the ET.

thanks. That run there was no bogging or wheel spin. Launched at 5500 with a good amount of clutch slipping.

Tried launching at 4500 and 5000 before that with some bogging and 60s in the 1.74-1.76 range. Then 6000 and spun a lot. How are you launching yours? Still experimenting and definitely appreciate any tips.

Glad to hear the mph is high. That means there is more in it right?

Well sounds liek you are doing it right. You can't compare to my launch cause I am spraying 150 shot out of the hole and it is dump and go........Maybe you are slipping a little to much. What are your RPM's falling to when you get the clutch all the way out?

First couple times it bogged down to like 3500-4000 when I let the clutch all the way out fast. That good run the rpms seemed to stay pretty high - maybe 5000 or even higher. I could smell the clutch a lot on that run, which I wasn't too crazy about.

150 shot out of the hole. Nice.
