12.0's many times...
I have made three trips 2.5 hours one way to the local 1/4 mile. I have had all 3 trips result in 12.0XX . Would someone look over my sig and make some suggestions. The car runs 1.70 short times as I can't use all of the converter on stock suspension. No spray at the track. car runs 113.5 mph. car is full weight except front sway is off now. Thanks in advance!

Well i would say try some 50/50 drag shocks in the rear it will give the car more weight transfer to the tires and should help your 60's.I am putting them in my car as we speak and for $85 for both i think it will help.

I was thinking about some lca relocation brackets and a airbag on the right rear or maybe some new springs. The right rear seems to squat to hard on the launch. Maybe I should put the sway back in.

Now if your car isn't lowered, you could try the hose mod . That way if that doesn't help ,you can always go back to your stock look.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/suspensio...ors-guide.html
it helped my 60fts . plus it will only cost you about $5.00 to do . OR........
you can also buy a FTRA kit .I'm sure you will get a tenth or two from that mod as well.

I did the hose mod to the left side and kept the right isolator in and added hose to the bottom of the right trying to get it to sit level. I think time and hard launches have really taken their toll on that right rear spring. I also swapped them left to right. I'll research the ftra kit.
THANKS

What RPM is the car shifting at? Maybe a little higher shifts would get there? With a ~230 duration cam, i would expect around 6500rpm. I dont know much about LS1s but maybe someone else will chime in

You're right there. You said you're full weight. Why not just pull a little weight out? I'd say 75 lbs would do it. I pulled out my rear seats in about 5 minutes and dropped like 40 lbs.....takes no time to put them back in after the track.

I could pull weight or blip the N20 button and get my snake eyes, but I want to do it full weight with no adder. I think I'll work on the suspension and see if that'll do it. Thought for sure the ls6 intake would get me there.

what was your times before the ls6 intake ? just curious....and also if your running 12.0XX pull that front bumper support out it will help your launch and its about 20lbs that should put u in the 11s....and u say ur car hits the right rear tire hard on launch try some 30 dollar poly-rear sway bar mounts from summit...

I know you've made a couple trips to the track now, how was the air each time? That in itself could mean the difference between a 12.0 and an 11.9X.

I agree with a lot of other people here, I think your suspension needs to be addressed. LCA's/Relocated Brackets etc will help your 60's out.

But Id look into some LCAs, Panhard Bar, and some shocks for front and rear, gears..To me Id do gears first, I know your not hooking but that may help everything. Also how many miles on the body, suspension ect? Shocks could be too tight still or wayyy to wore out..

I've been thinking about taking my front bumper support out, but it seems like my car front end raises up pretty good for having front bumper support and stock k-member still in place.
