Finally got into the 11's!

Finally got into the 11's!
I knew all I needed was some good tires "And not my hard *** street tires " M/T ET Streets . Still trying to stall up the car and the car wants to move foward. So can't go over 1,700 RPMs or the car wants to move.
I'm going to look at getting some better brake pads to see if that will help. But I still got my 11's pass WOOOOT!!

I kinda wanna see what your car will do on the dope.. We'll see. Let me know when you have it all tuned and when you're heading out to the track to try it out... I'll will let you know something tho............................................... .. You'll still be slow...lol jk man

You coming to the RKC meet tonight if so you can see what I have done to it so far.
I might start out with a 100 shot then go up from there. I just don't want to launch off the dope... I don't feel like trying to break **** lol

I wouldn't make that blanket statement. Not all converters are the same. Mine loves it when I launch around 3200rpm, nets me a 1.50 60'. T&T is all about trying new things and seeing what works best!

As for my converter... I should be able to get higher up on the RPM's I need to launch at a higher RPM 3000 + for my Cam "TRak" so I can get the best use from it. I'm taking it back to my tunner on Tuesday to have a look at it. I'm having a problem shifting from 1 to 2... it likes to bounce off the rev limiter. He said he would change the shift points for me.
I'm hoping to get everything fix for next week.. Going to make a nitrous pass and want everything working perfect. With the time it take to get in the 11sec club I might be asking to get in the 10sec club lol

SSHAWK, im running a yank 4000 converter and bolt ons, lid, headers, exhaust cutout, suspension etc. making 337 at the wheels and i can power brake over 4k and the car wont move. Of course if i dropped the hammer at that RPM id burn the tires off, but i cant understand why if you have a 3800 you cant foot stall higher than you are doing.
