NA G8 checking in!
couple more shakedown passes tonight. Starting to get a feel for the car/set up.. Set of Hoosier DR's and Weld Skinnies up front, other than that, full weight, the way it drives on the street, stock gears, stock stall.
that was first pass out. I ran him again about half hour later
(both slips together)

I started at 12.3 then 12.2 i was hoping for an 11 pass but just couldnt get it. I did kill a supercharged mustang so I'm happy. Good job tbough thr car looked great and performed awesome

Yeah, that car should run DEEP 11's with a converter. There was a G8 at Montgomery with a CAI, full exhaust, tune, and a Yank ss3600 going 12.30's in the heat. He was getting 1.68 60 foots on a drag radial with all stock wheels. My T/A went 11.20's with that same mph you ran, so you should run 10's N/A with your planned mods. Sweet car.

Thanks Ron, nothing big about this block. little longer stroke, that's all lol..
Thanks. Hopefully.. Right now i have an opportunity to grab a 3.23 rear for pretty cheap. may just toss that in, take it back to the track and if i can squeak an 11.49 or better, may just field strip it see if i can challenge for the NA record and stay stock converter (for now). Idk yet.. time will tell.
last two trips there were the same wait around for hours.. sucked.
