Default NA G8 checking in!

couple more shakedown passes tonight. Starting to get a feel for the car/set up.. Set of Hoosier DR's and Weld Skinnies up front, other than that, full weight, the way it drives on the street, stock gears, stock stall.

that was first pass out. I ran him again about half hour later

(both slips together)

Nice time, congrats!

You need a stall to take that car to it's potential!

likewise on your TA. My friend Matt (owns the shop where i get my work done) and I were checking your car out. He's got the same car at his shop now with a huge motor and twins being built. The same guy owns that black TBSS he was running (11.62 @117). That's a 402 with a 1900 on it and a shot which he didn't use but threatened me with it because i was busting chops about beating him twice by .02 lol

Hopefully getting done (along with some 3.45's, a new CAI, ported TB and some fat cut) by the Dec 7 track rental. some good air with those mods will be interesting. Hell i didn't even use the Bogarts. The skinnies i used were on Welds, heavy as the rear F body wheel lol. I couldn't find the lugs for the Bogarts i borrowed from a friend!

vids run 1

run 2

Yeah, that car should run DEEP 11's with a converter. There was a G8 at Montgomery with a CAI, full exhaust, tune, and a Yank ss3600 going 12.30's in the heat. He was getting 1.68 60 foots on a drag radial with all stock wheels. My T/A went 11.20's with that same mph you ran, so you should run 10's N/A with your planned mods. Sweet car.

Thanks. Hopefully.. Right now i have an opportunity to grab a 3.23 rear for pretty cheap. may just toss that in, take it back to the track and if i can squeak an 11.49 or better, may just field strip it see if i can challenge for the NA record and stay stock converter (for now). Idk yet.. time will tell.
