Ran this last fall.. currently working on suspension, so hoping for high 10s/low 11a this summer/fall.

This run was also on the stock 10 bolt rear without a torque arm, lcas, and with a street tire.

Good deal! Your car makes good power for a cam only LS3. Is that BTR IV a pretty big cam for the LS3?

I am happy where it's at for now I plan on throwing a 150 wet shot at it in the future..

Yup, BTR IV is a 233/248 .619"/.595" 113+5 Cam. Sometimes it surges after a hard pull but other than that I love the top end.. can literally feel it kicking in haha.

Everyone keeps saying how much of a difference nitrous makes haha. I'm surprised your 10 bolt is still holding up with the 4.10s!

Yeah me too lol. Although I have a trutrack upgrade so that might have a little to do with it. But with 4.10 gears on a 6 speed it's not really the best scenario lol

Lol I have the true trac in my 9" feels a bit stiffer than my 10 bolt around turns but I love it. 4.11 gears on the highway kinda suck but other than that they're perfect and the power is always there. What kind of tire are you running?

Yeah i agree at our power level n/a the 4.10 is perfect on a 6 speed. I'm running a 315 BFG dr, and even from a 2nd gear roll on the nitrous she just busts them loose lol. What tire and wheel setup are you running?

I can imagine dude! Haha must be awesome to drive. I'm running a crappy Nitto Invo in the rear right now (i lower the psi for the track) but am looking at some ET Street II's for the near future.

Did you have any problems fitting the 315 in there?

Yes I do have issues with it rubbing and it drives me nuts lol. I rolled the fenders, adjustable pan hard bar, and beat the inner fender wells with a hammer and it still rubs dammit lol. I think part of the problem is the BFG runs really wide. I mean it actually bows over the 11 inch rim a bit. Do you run 17x11 in the rear as well?

I have a buddy who runs 325 tires on a 17x11 zr1 wheel without clearance issues. BFGs do run wide for some reason not the first time I've heard that

Nope I was stupid and bought an 18x10.5" rim. Wish I could go back and put a 17 on there but at the time a staggered setup looked awesome to me.

I hear ya. I run a 9 in the front and 11 in the rear and it looks good, but I think an 18 inch staggered setup will always look a tad better. When these BFG'S are done I'm getting the Toyo TQ dr. I love that tire. Have you ever ran it?

I have mine setup pretty stupid I think the tires have a 35 sidewall in the back and 40 up front. Never ran the Toyo's but I have buddies running the Proxy 888r and having good luck with them.

I'm ordering some ET Street II's very soon in a 305/35/18 which I cannot wait to get on

That's cool! You should dead hook with those ET's, but if they are anything like the BFG they won't handle worth a damn lol. That's why I like the Toyo dr...almost as grippy as my BFG, but handles much better and lasted as long as my old 555R Nittos. If I was a more dedicated track guy I'd go straight to the MT probably

Well that's the problem haha I don't go to the track every weekend and run my car.. more like once every 2 months. I have been eyeing the 555r's or NT05 tires for some time now and really can't decide between those or the ET Streets. About $100 difference in cost Nitto vs MT

Before I got my BFG's I had the Nitto 555R on my ride, and to be perfectly honest I loved them n/a on the street. They handled well, hooked great as a street tire, and lasted over 15,000 miles. Granted 1st gear was useless but it's also that way with the BFG's. The Nittos were a joke on nitrous though lol.

Yeah I can imagine.. I don't think any street tire will hook up with nitrous lol
