your car is a dog out of the hole, converter is too tight

you should be cutting 1.5's
you need a 4000 stall

car runs good down track-122mph, nice

your 60' is why you dont have a 10 sec car

With the right converter no reason you shouldnt match this guys 60'.

This car Im sure is a good bit heavier than yours and he is a big boy.

Ok, when you say the convertor is too tight, what is it that you mean? I am a little new to this.

I haven`t had much seat time with the new setup, this time out was about the 10th pass with new setup. So i am getting use to lauching the car. Right now i am consistantly netting 1.7 60fts. I haven`t got the tire pressures dialed in yet either. I do agree with you that a bigger stall would have netted bigger gains but i also like to roll race and i wanted to keep those highway gears for now(Stock 2.56`s).
I guess at a roll its a 10 second car.

Holy crap, 2.56's!

Ehhh, what is the 1st gear ratio in that tranny?

I think I forgot to link you to the Camaro I have been helping a guy with. Basicly he has headers, ory, catback, and a lid. His converter is a Yank SS4000. He can cut 1.5's and he runs 7.8's in the 1/8mi. You do have alot more power than he does so if you had some gears and/or a looser stall you would be all in the 10's. If you could get to 1.5 60', which I know you can, that .2 drop in 60' would net you double that or more in the 1/4.

Car has good speed dude, it must be hell from a roll.
