and also ROFL, but a "Where is the bashing on him, which you would've done had I said it?"
OP: If you're adamant it's not the exhaust, is the time between clicks perfectly timed, like is it the same amount of time between them until it starts to slow down? Does it happen EVERY time, and is it the same length pause EVERY time as well? I ask to try to rule out where it's coming from. If it's timed perfectly and happens every time, it won't be the exhaust doing it since the temp of the exhaust will be different for every drive. Where as if it was perfect that would lead us to something electrical. Which is where I'm thinking it is, more specifically something having to do with security. Does it have an aftermarket system? Has it happened since you've owned the vehicle, or only something that's popped up more recently? Sit in the car with the radio on at a low volume (door closed and don't open it), does the clicking stop when the radio turns off? Since our cars have a courtesy power time limit till you open your door. If they turn off at the same time, it could be relay related, like for the key/lights buzzer.

can't give you much advice unless you can localize the sound...I've had a bad relay that made that type of sound, may want to check the fuse box under the hood. However given thats is only after you drive the car, its prolly something heat related
