I probably should have put my thread here instead.
WHY IS MY CAR SO SLOW!
- Also trapped 114 MPH on one of the runs.
- Running on 2002 era Pep Boys Futura Z-rated 245/50-16 tires.
- Spinning off the line, the 1-2, and the 2-3 shift.
- Currently have a mail-order tune. Hope to pick up a bit more with a dyno tune.

that's an lt1 car, right? i think you answered your own question.
i have no idea what kind of power your engine should be producing, but my lid/muffler 99 ta traps .5 less than what yours did in the 1/8 mile. there is obviously a problem somewhere. who/where tuned that setup? that that h/c combo is killer, it has to be a tuning issue.
edit: top half pick up says m6..? what clutch and gear?

Correct, M6. Spec Stage III clutch, with a stock 3.42:1 rear.

Ai is correct. I have a Vette with similiar numbers/motor as you(though I am 3200 pounds) and trap 121-122 and run low 11s on Nittos but with 390 gears.
Air quality has sucked lately so wait for some decent air before freaking out. What track did you go to?
Don't put real tires on that car till you get a rear in it

a mail order tune...? how many times did you send it back for adjustments? i can't see that motor doing anything close to its potential on a mail order tune. i'd think a dyno tune is a must for a setup like that. ba for sure and will def roll out. i think the answer to your question lies within the tune.

"Not too bad", at least to me, means there is room for improvement, but what do I know.

"not too bad" could be in reference to safety, as well.
as far as full on tuning, it'd be very hard to tell without the car there and back to back runs/pulls or whatever to see how it responds to adjustments. i believe it would gain huge from a real tune. sweet setup, good luck.

Awesome, I can't wait to get there on a Wednesday night now! My "Ford friends" are surprised it's even hitting 114 MPH, they were guessing in the 107-110 MPH range. Nice.
