Default '06 GTO in the 12s

Info and slip here.

Only Mod I paid for is the Predator Tuner. I removed all the spare tire stuff, floor mats and skid plate. Cut out the baffel from the upper airbox lid. And finaly dropped the air preasure in the stock tiers to 24 PSI.

I made the run as the sun was setting, Dropped at 2600rpms (good track prep prevented wheel hop.) hit a prefect 2nd to 3rd and a good 3rd to 4th (late 1 to 2).

RT: .169
60': 1.912
330: 5.416
1/8: 8.313
mph: 85.37
1000: 10.807
1/4: 12.912
mph: 107.27

on my next run I missed the 3rd to 4th shift and still ran a 13.2@102

Good run, goes to show that a good 60' is half the battle, shifting is the other 1/2.

The steering rack is behind the pan. The front cross sits behind the sump too. The sump is in front and is the lowest hanging item under the car. Even small road debris can do some serious damage to an aluminum oil pan. So there is a ~25lb steel skid plate that covers all that. Also remember this is an austrailian car where unimproved roads are fairly common.

You hit a pretty good 60 ft with stock tires! With some DR's you should be able to hit 1.7 or 1.8's!
