08 impala ss and monte ss
the front ends are basically similar not sure about width wise cant seem to find the info im looking for but would the lip from the monte carlo ss fit the impala ss both from the 2008 model? the lip would set the impala off

Lip won't work, front bumpers are completely different, but I don't see why a front end swap wouldn't work. If they can swap a Jetta and Gti's front end with ease why not these cars. I'm assuming it's not easily done though because someone would've done it just to be that guy saying, "The first Imapla with a Monte front end".

On Tuesday, June 19, 2007, the last two 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo models rolled off the line at the Oshawa Assembly Plant. The last two models were identical "SS" models with Precision Red exterior paint; Silver Rally Stripes; and Ebony Nuance leather interior. The two models features the "SS" 5.3 L V8 Engine with its "best in class" rated 303 hp (226 kW); 18" polished aluminum wheels; heated exterior mirrors; and AM/FM/CD and XM Radio"[4]
Refreshened 6th-generation Monte Carlo.
The final Monte Carlo off the production line will be retained by GM for their Heritage Center collection. The second-to-last Monte off the line, the last "saleable" unit, was auctioned off on August 15, at Manheim's Statesville Auto Auction in Statesville, North Carolina. The winning bid went to Fred Simon, owner of Simon Chevrolet in Woonsocket, RI where it is on display on the dealership floor for the public to enjoy. This unit was at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend of July 27–29 for the 2007 Allstate 400 at the Brickyard. While there, it was signed by all the current Team Chevrolet drivers who were active in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

i think that we need to take some comparison measurements of the wheel well edge to the edge of head light of both cars just to see if the bumpers are the same length. heres mine its a little more then 10.25" i know it doesnt look it in the pic but it is. just hard to take a pic with a measuring tape that doesnt lock.

I've seen a few Monte Carlos with Impala front bumpers, they should have no problem interchanging. When I get my wheels back I'll take a measurement to compare. Or if any Monte owner near me wants to expierement.

I have a Monte lip sitting here in my basement at work. I've been too damn lazy to bring it up from the basement and actually lay it under the car for test fitment...lmao.
Since I lowered the car, I have no intention of ever installing the lip, as I'd never be able to get clearance on any driveway approach whatsoever.

The bottom lip on the Monte is a little lower, but it kind of sits in front of the bumper. I do not think that it would look awkward at all. I think it would dress up the front of the Pimpala a bunch!

Monte Carlo bumper on 2007 LTZ Impala
I don't have an SS Impala but I do have an 2007 LTZ. I recently put a Monte Carlo front bumper on my car. It was easy and looks great. Monte bumper cover and lower grille is all that's needed

Any particular reason you did this? Unless you're upgrading to an SS setup, why bother? The lines on the bumper don't match the fender & doors, so there would have to be a good reason to do this, imo.
