LS2 Truck intake swap for camaro/corvette intake
I just dropped my LS2 SSTB engine into my 67 Camaro, I do not want to use the truck intake cause of its size. I am looking into the shorter car intake. What parts from my truck set up can I use with the car intake and which items will I need to purchase along with the intake or exchange... Interchangable???
I have the entire engine with tranny, harness, computer, drive by wire TB ect.
Engine and tranny came out of a 07' SS Trailblazer 2wheel drive 4L60E.

If you're using a DBW throttle body, you may have to switch to an 07 and newer truck water pump. The outlet is different than the earlier models. I'm not sure how your accessories are set up. Are they spaced out like the trucks are? Here is a pic of a 5.3 with truck accessories, LS6 intake, and moved a/c compressor. As you can see, there's a chance that your DBW throttle body might not clear.

Not sure about the 4 bolt DBW TB, but as LS1MCSS pointed out the L92 water pump will clear some installs. Check out this link.

The other option is an LS1 water pump with the truck pulley (I did my own, but someone sells these now) or slide the LS1 pulley farther off the shaft (I know one other person has done this).

Thanx guys, I have the 07' trailblazer SS waterpump that came with the engine, it looks like the waterneck is at a tighter angle than the earlier truck waterpumps. I am going to order the Kwik Performance truck Alternator and PS pump relocation bracket, it will also relocate the idler pulley and clear the throttle body. I think Ive got the clearance issues figured out.
Now I just have to figure out which intake to purchase, will I need to purchase injectors, throttle body and fuel rails to go with the car intake or can I use the Trailblazer's? What intake package will I need, gonna look into Ebay for the parts, any suggestions?

The LS2 heads are cathedral port, so an LS1/2/6 intake will work. But your TB is probably a 4 bolt so you'll want the LS2 intake, the others are 3 bolt.
On early truck motors you could reuse the injectors on a car intake by removing the plastic tips. I just put flex fuel injectors in an LS1 intake, no mods needed. Not sure what your TBSS has. You'll need an aftermarket rail since the truck injectors are too short to use an LS1/2 fuel rail.
If you do get car injectors you'll need the wiring pigtails changed too.
