Re: Quickest STOCK INTERNALS List - 11.951 bump!
I'm just a hair quicker than posted. 11.921 @115.9 with a crappy 1.86' short time on a slippery track.
Hopefully I'll shave some off that Saturday. I got new fuzzy dice.

Oh, and Kathy (12 Second Momma) is 11.950 at 116.5 on a 1.75 60' with a 3260 raceweight (same car). Which might make her one of the fastest M6 gals.

My car seems to be falling on it's face at the top end of the track and it just not MPH'ing like it should. I understand different converters do different things but come on now. I have all bolt-ons and a YPT4400. I don't think there is anything wrong with the converter, look at all the others on this list that have done extremely well with it. Donald and I were running on the same track in the same weather conditions.

That list is 100% impressive as hell - amazing.
I would like to let my buddies 01-Z and Rageman know that I'm closing in on their M6 record. Finally figured out what was wrong back in May when I couldn't make a pass to save my life: Engine issue was the mass-air meter, tranny issue was clutch gap (scattershield). Both fixed, and made two passes yesterday, 11.62 and 11.60.
Now that you guys can't defend yourselves, I'm coming after ya.
Hawkn01 ....I was at MIR yesterday for the Domestics vs Imports. I've never seen that track so crowded in my life - it is probably best that you didn't make it. And congrats on your new best.

1) Knock retard
2) something banging causeing retard
3) Tranny slipping (worn clutchs)
4)lock up plate flexing because of to much line pressure ( I beleive Mike recomends running a modulated tranny instead of transgo with raised line pressure)
Those are a few things you might want to look into. Hope this helps.

Sure wish it would have stuck on that run, it would have been a 30 for sure. If you would, could you post the time on the LS1 tech list please. Track was MIR on 11-15-03, DA was sea level. Weight was around 3200-25
